Why is Flock sheep milk so unique?

It’s creamy, real dairy with naturally rich nutrition: high A2 protein per cup, ~+60% more calcium vs. regular milk and 0 g added sugar. Small, seasonal yields make sheep milk rare on U.S. shelves. See more on our product page.

What are the benefits vs. cow’s milk?

Sheep milk delivers complete dairy protein (all essential amino acids) and more calcium. It’s also naturally A2-dominant (casein type). Many people find A2 dairy gentler on digestion. Learn more on our product page.

Why isn’t sheep milk as common as cow’s milk?

Sheep produce less milk and are seasonal, so supply is limited. That’s why you don’t see it often despite its great nutrition.

Is Flock a U.S. company?

Yes. Flock Milk Inc. is a U.S. company formed in Delaware.

Who owns Flock Milk?

Flock is privately owned by its founders (from the U.S., and Spain). No big corporation behind us—just a small team building the brand.

Where is the milk produced?

Today we source and pack in Europe and import under U.S. regulations. As we grow, we plan to add U.S. production.

Where does the protein come from?

From the milk itself. All protein in Flock is naturally occurring—we don’t add protein powders, isolates or concentrates.

Is Flock Milk lactose-free?

No. Sheep milk naturally contains lactose. We’re exploring a lactose-free option for the future.

Why might Flock feel easier to digest?

Standard cow’s milk often contains A1 β-casein. During digestion it can release a peptide called BCM-7; some people who think they’re lactose intolerant may actually be sensitive to BCM-7. Sheep milk is A2-dominant, which many find gentler. Individual responses vary.

How long does Flock Milk last after opening?

Once opened, consume within 3 days and keep refrigerated.

Why does Flock have a longer unopened shelf life?

We use ultra-pasteurization (UP) and a cold chain that help keep milk fresh unopened for up to 4 months (similar to other market milks). After opening, treat it like regular milk: keep cold and drink within 3 days.

Is Flock Milk pasteurized?

Yes—ultra-pasteurized for safety and extended unopened shelf life.

How should I store Flock Milk?

Keep it refrigerated. Close the cap tightly and avoid temperature swings.

Can I cook and bake with Flock Milk?

Absolutely. It behaves like other milk—great in coffee, sauces, soups and baking.

What should I consider before buying Flock Milk?

If you want naturally creamy dairy with A2 protein and more calcium vs. regular milk, Flock is a great choice.

Where does the sugar in Flock Milk come from?

There are no added sugars. The sugar is natural lactose present in milk.

Where does the sodium in Flock Milk come from?

Milk naturally contains some sodium. We also use a small amount of sodium phosphate as a pH stabilizer during ultra-pasteurization—that’s standard in many dairy products.

What is Flock’s A2 protein?

It refers to the A2 type of casein that predominates in sheep milk. Research suggests A2 casein may be better tolerated by many compared with A1 casein. This doesn’t address milk allergy; individual responses vary.

Is Flock's milk organic or hormone-free?

Organic: We’re not currently USDA Organic–certified.

Hormones: Our milk comes from flocks not treated with growth hormones. As with all dairy, hormones naturally occur in milk.

Is Flock Milk gluten-free?

Yes. Milk is naturally gluten-free.
